We have achieved, with the extension 02/11 to our certificate CESI 03 ATEX 323, the compliance with standards EN60079-0: 2009 and EN60079-1: 2007 for our explosion-proof gas detectors to be installed in areas with the presence of potentially explosive atmospheres, models TS293, SE138 and SE193, identified by the following new marking:

THE PLUS: NEWS GAS DETECTOR WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF REPLACING THE CARTTIDGE SENSOR ON SITE
Tecnocontrol introduces the excellence in the field of the gas detection with the range of the products here represented, with some performances and a way of management unique on their category.
Two keys F1 and F2 on each instrument allow the normal service operation. The instrument service is independent from software or any esternal device avoiding possible difficulties due to the fast product technology evolution.

“Zero” adjust
- During the installation could be necessary the “ZERO” adjust operation, that it is simply carried out pressing a particular code sequence of F1 and F2 buttons.
- During the normal working, the gas detector adjusts automatically the Zero adjust if it is recognized the absence of warning conditions. Anyway, it is possible to make the manual operation in any case it is necessary.
MAINTENANCE: SIMPLY CALIBRATION

A special code sequence F1 and F2 keys allows to begin the calibration, the red led flashes. |

Supply gas through the kit of calibration. |

Waiting until that the red led is fixed. Finally press the key F2 to confirm. |
| The red led is fixed only if all operations have correctly been performed, so the sensor is able to discriminate the eventual mistakes of the operator. The calibration is finished. In alternative, it is possible to replace simply the cartridge precalibrated. |

NON-ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, REPLACEABLE SENSOR CARTRIDGE

Each new gas detector is manufactured with the possibility of replacing the cartridge sensor on site.
The cartridge, carrying the refernces to trace the calibration sample gas, is complete of calibration hardware. Its replacement does not require further operation (apart from the funcional test). |

ADVANTAGES MAINTENANCE:
Routine - the cartridge replacement greatly shortens the gas calibration time and replaces it completely.
Non-routine - The replacement on site of the cartridges is possible simply providing to have them available, thus avoiding to dissemble and re-assemble the gas detector, an operation indispensable during the laboratory maintenance. The cartridge replacement makes the non-routine maintenance very fast and particularly economic.
